The process of letting of offices in Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier is making good progress. Grossmann & Berger, member of German Property Partners (GPP), has brokered the long-term let of over 1,400 m² of office space on the upper floors of the ‘Lee’ tower. The new tenant is ADLER Smart Solutions, a clean-tech firm from Hamburg. The company plans to move into its new offices in the second half of 2024.
ADLER Smart Solutions was founded in 2011 by Tajo Adler, a graduate in business studies/economics, and it is concerned with developing and implementing holistic projects in the renewable energy sector. Since its founding, the company has been advancing the integration of photovoltaic equipment and environment-friendly mobility in pursuit of its vision of uncomplicated, affordable and clean energy for future generations – a fitting tenant for the Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier with its sustainability concept and BREEAM certification.
The twin towers Luv & Lee (windward & leeward) rise more than 60 metres high and offer over 20,100 m² of office space; they form the waterfront entrance to the Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier. Spread over 13 floors, there is space for 1,700 workplaces. The architects at UNStudio have designed the glass façades so as to allow natural light to flood the building. In the interior, flexible base plates without fire partition walls are conducive to modern working styles. A special highlight of the Lee building is the Skybar, a 700 m² space offering views of the River Elbe and the city.
In conjunction with CBRE, Grossmann & Berger has been commissioned by the project’s owner, Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, to broker the office space in Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier. In total, the quarter consists of 14 buildings on 67,000 m² of land, or three times the size of Hamburg Fish Market.
