Deseo GastroConcept recently rented new-build restaurant premises in the “Baakenhafenquartier” of Hamburg HafenCity. GWG Gruppe, headquartered in Stuttgart, is the property’s owner. Grossmann & Berger, a member of German Property Partners (GPP), brokered the rental agreement between the group and Deseo GastroConcept. The space at Baakenallee 24-44 is 500 m² in size.
Restaurant with view across the Elbe
The restaurant is located directly next to the River Elbe; it has large windows and a spacious patio. As part of its planned expansion, Deseo GastroConcept will be opening a second restaurant here. The company already has a restaurant in Eppendorf district and is thus growing its presence in Hamburg with the new space in HafenCity. The opening is scheduled for about the end of 2023.
Grossmann & Berger has exclusive commission to market new-build commercial space
The “Baakenhafen” quarter is being developed in the eastern part of HafenCity, between the River Elbe and Versmannstrasse. This quarter will comprise a total of 1,800 apartments and space for some shops and restaurants. Grossmann & Berger has the exclusive commission to market commercial space on building lots 91 and 93; in this capacity G&B has already brokered space to other firms including RW Showrooms and VIMODROM.
