FBB Gastro Company has rented restaurant and bar space in the “Galleria”, Grosse Bleichen 21 in Hamburg. The total floor area is some 132 m², plus the Galleria pontoon anchored on Bleichenfleet canal. It is owned by Ruppert Immobilien. Grossmann & Berger Immobilien, a member of German Property Partners (GPP), brokered the lease.
Tabac Bar to reopen
FBB Gastro is taking over the space formerly used by the Tabac Bar that had been in the mall for 25 years before closing during the Covid pandemic. The company intends to open the bar under its original name while introducing a new food and beverage concept. The adjoining pontoon will be used as patio space for the Tabac Bar and in summer will feature a pop-up open air bar for the Pony Club from Sylt Island. FBB Gastro Company already operates established bars in Hamburg such as the Thomas Read Irish Pub and Frieda B.
Galleria: An elegant backdrop for food and beverages
The Galleria section in the mall district is known for its elegant architectural design and its black and white marble décor, inspired by 19th century European malls. Large shop window bays and flexible floor plans offer a stunning backdrop to individualistic concepts – ideal for FBB Gastro’s new project.
