Grossmann & Berger (G&B) is once again expanding its Berlin office. The company is adding two new employees: one strengthening its Investment team in the city and one laying the foundation for its new Office letting department. G&B, member of German Property Partners (GPP), has appointed two new managers as of 1st September:
- Stefan Olsson (50) will head the Investment Berlin department and be responsible for expanding G&B’s investment business in commercial and residential real estate in Berlin. He will also be general manager of the Berlin branch. In the course of his real estate career extending for more than 25 years, Olsson, who earned a certificate in real estate economics (ebs), has held several managerial positions with well-known companies in the funds, investment and brokerage fields, both in Germany and Europe. He will report to managing director Frank-D. Albers.
- Antje Helmer (39) will head the new Berlin Office letting department and establish this business unit in the national capital. Having studied at a vocational academy where she gained her Bachelor of Arts (real estate) in 2008, Helmer has worked for several well-known brokers in a variety of positions in the commercial property letting sector. As of 2015 her job title was Director. Helmer will report to Andreas Rehberg, spokesperson for the management board.
“Our Berlin office is an essential pillar of the group of companies. One of our strategic aims is to exploit the potential the city offers. With over 90 years of experience and our knowledge of the real estate business, we feel that we are in an excellent position to do exactly that,” remarks Andreas Rehberg. Grossmann & Berger was founded 90 years ago in March 1933.
The group of companies opened its office on Potsdamer Platz in 2012. To date the team in Berlin has concentrated on commercial property investments and identifying buyers/tenants for new-build and rental apartments. Last year the buy-to-let housing department was set up. For over 20 years Grossmann & Berger has also provided services as owners’ representatives and in the field of coordinating the letting of commercial space in Berlin through their subsidiary Reese Immobilien Consulting.
