Iperceramica Deutschland has rented a store in the Bahrenfeld district of Hamburg for its ceramic tiles/floor coverings shop and showroom. Real estate and development company ADOLF WEBER Grundbesitz- und Projektgesellschaft owns the premises consisting of a 630-square-metre store plus office wing (75 m²) at Holstenkamp 56. On 4th July Iperceramica opened its showroom on one of Hamburg’s major traffic arteries. The location, where customers can park directly in front of the building, is set to become more desirable when Altona rail station has been relocated to Diebsteich, 500 metres away as the crow flies. Grossmann & Berger, member of German Property Partners (GPP), brokered the lease between the two parties.
Tiles “made in Italy”
Iperceramica Deutschland is the German subsidiary of the Italian Iperceramica enterprise, whose registered office is close to Modena. The company now has 87 branches in Italy. Its range encompasses floor and wall tiles, floor coverings such as laminates, vinyl and parquet, bathroom fittings and high-end bathroom furniture. Most of the tiles are designed by Iperceramica and produced by Italian ceramics manufacturers. The company has cut out middlemen entirely, and this is reflected in the pricing of the entire range.
From online to bricks and mortar
Currently, the firm has expanded its international network into France, Malta and Germany. Since 2021 it has been possible to order these Italian floor coverings online for shipment to Germany. With the opening of its first German store in Gelsenkirchen, Iperceramica has established a physical presence on the German market; there are firm plans to open further stores in Hannover, Berlin, Dortmund and the Rhine-Main region.
