MEV Mobile Export-Verpackung is expanding its storage capacity in Winsen to fulfil orders for a customer in the food industry. For this purpose the company recently rented a hall at Tönnhäuser Weg 100-106. It offers a floor area of about 4,405m² of with an additional 100 m² of office space. Grossmann & Berger Immobilien, member of German Property Partners (GPP), brokered the lease.
In 2019 Grossmann & Berger brokered the entire property to its current owner. The facility has some 27,679 m² of usable space and is set on 57,731 m² of land. For this property, MEV Mobile Export-Verpackung’s expansion represents the biggest rental agreement brokered by an estate agent since 2019.
Jumbo roller gate and indoor crane
The hall ceiling heights range from 4.20 m to 8.50 m; the hall itself has a heavy duty concrete floor and ground level gates. In addition to a standard roller gate there is also a jumbo roller gate that can accommodate an HGV. “In order to provide the tenant with the space he requires, we are connecting two hall sections together,” says Bertram Schubert, consultant for industrial and logistics real estate at Grossmann & Berger Immobilien. “The fit-out, in particular the indoor crane, perfectly matches the needs of this customer, who already operates in Lüneburg, Magdeburg and Seevetal.”
The county town of Winsen can be accessed by motorway, rail and inland waterway. This, together with its proximity to Hamburg, makes Winsen a popular location for commercial premises.
